Boys win in London


Wolves U-16 boys collected their tenth Premier East win of the season with a 70-55 victory at London Greenhouse Pioneers, on Saturday.

Adam Pearce’s side did most of the damage in opening first half as they built on a 20-9 first period lead to go into the locker room with a 41-19 advantage. Pearce could run his bench in the second half, extending the lead to 56-33 at the final break before the hosts took the last frame 22-14.

Milic Pavic led a Wolves side that had 11 players troubling the scorers, finishing with 18 points, seven rebounds and as many assists, adding three steals. Josh Brooks added nine points and five boards, while Daniel Kastadinocv and Ben Hodges had seven points apiece. Lanre Pratt added four points and as many assists to his ten rebounds.

Wolves complete their regular season campaign with a visit from Brentwood Fire on Saturday afternoon with a top half finish on offer for the winner.
