A pair of contrasting defeats saw Wolves U-16 boys' play-off chances effectively end.
A battling performance against a much physically bigger London Thunder saw them go down 55-44 while the previous week it was a case of the one that got away as they lost by a single point against London Greenhouse Pioneers.
Wolves started well against Thunder before the visitors took a 13-9 lead into the first break before the hosts controlled the second half to lead 25-24 going into the locker room. Thunder edged ahead 36-34 at the final break before wearing Wolves down to wrap up the win with a 19-10 fourth period.
Wolves were led by 19 Daniel Kostadinov points, adding four rebounds and three assists, with Milic Pavic adding ten points, four boards and as many assists.
In contrast the previous week, a strong fourth period wasn't quite enough for Wolves as they lost a thriller 52-51 against Pioneers.
The hosts had trailed by seven going into the final period but fought back to take a one point lead into the last minute before the visitors scored a jump shot, and despite having the final shot, Adam Pearce's side came up just short.
Earlier in the game the hosts had taken a 17-13 lead into the first break before Pioneers gained control to lead 30-25 at half-time and 43-35 at the final break.
Kostadinov again led Wolves, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds and three assists, Lanre Pratt had his customary double-double with ten points and 12 boards while Alex Riley added 10 points.
