Oaklands Wolves have added US forward Allison Day to the 2023/24 Women’s League roster.

The Winchester, Ohio native has moved to the Wolves after impressing in the Australian NBL this summer with Diamond VE. The 6’1 forward averaged 9.6 points and 5 rebounds in 24 minutes of action. Prior to her NBL season, Day became a double graduate after having a strong NCAA division 1 career across two programs. Playing all 4 years at Loyola for her undergrad degree, she averaged 9.7 points and 5.5 rebounds before moving on to Bowling Green State for her masters. In her graduate season at BGS she averaged 13.1 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Coach Ryan had this to say about the latest addition “Allison is a great signing for us. She has so much experience, not only in college, but also having been over to Australia. That’s where I watched her extensively and saw her potential to help the team immediately, but also her potential to expand her game to new levels. She is going to be a great addition for us this season.”

The player added “I am so grateful to be signing with Oaklands! It’s a great opportunity for me to develop as a player and experience another level of basketball. I’m excited to play with my new teammates and learn from them and the coaches!”
