U-13 girls start with a tie

Wolves under-13 girls made a successful start to the season as they drew 18-18 with Norfolk Iceni, on Sunday.

George Walker's team survived a disastrous second period where they saw their 4-2 first break lead disappear as Iceni went into the half-time break 14-6 ahead. A pair of Sienna McLaughlin baskets helped Wolves narrow the gap to 16-14 at the final break, and a McLaughlin score followed by a late Lois Levenston basket tied the score at 18, and with Norfolk,

McLaughlin led Wolves with six points, with Levenston adding four.

Wolves U-13 Boys premier team made it three straight victories by beating West Herts Warriors 79-22 and Wolves Development A 89-18.#

Titouan Vimeux led Ibrahim Gariba's team in both games, finishing with 12 against Warriors and 19 against his Wolves clubs-mates. Dylan Maisey, Liam Schertal, Zac Butterworth and Caiden Illouno against Warriors as Wolves never looked back afte a 31-6 first period. They went into the half-time break 45-12 ahead and wrapped things up with a 22-8 thord period.

Schertal and Maisey each added 12 against Wolves A as they built a 24-6 first period lead and went into half-time 42-8 ahead. A 29-4 third quarter followed before they completed the win with a 20-2 final stanza. Vernon Cena led the Development side with six points

Wolves A had a better time against Brentwood Leopards as they ouscored the visitors in all four periods on the way to a 42-20 victory. while Wolves Development B split their pair of games losing 45-16 against Brentwood before bouncing back to beat Iceni 56-27
