Wolves under-12 boys produced two of their best performances of the season on Sunday, but came up just short as the Herts U-13 CVL continued at Oaklands.
With a limited programme due to court availability, Ipswich continued their good season in the competition with a pair of contrasting victories. They opened with a comfortable 50-16 win against Wolves Girls before edging out Wolves U-12 boys 28-20.
Wolves U-12 boys [pictured] also went close when they faced the Wolves U-13 Development side as they led 16-14 before finally going down 32-28.
In the day’s final game Wolves under-16 development side overcame a poor first quarter to beat the under-14 boys NBL team 58-34.
